Getting your property ready for a lawn mowing visit

A practical checklist for access, belongings, pets and agreed work before your next Tamway lawn mowing visit.

Confirm the plan before the day

Once your visit is arranged, check the agreed mowing areas, any edging or tidy-up work, and how we will access the property. If there is something you are unsure about, contact Adam before the visit so we can clarify it together.

If your plans or the property's condition have changed since the quote, please let us know. Extra areas or additional work need to be discussed before we begin.

Clear the lawn and explain any obstacles

Move toys, hoses, outdoor furniture and other loose belongings away from the areas being mowed where you can. Point out irrigation fittings, low objects or features that may be difficult to see in the grass. If something cannot be moved, tell us so we can agree on how to work around it.

You do not need to tackle difficult or unsafe tasks to prepare for a visit. If an area needs extra attention before mowing, explain the situation and we will discuss what can be done.

Arrange access and keep pets secure

Check that the agreed access route is available and let us know about locked gates, shared paths or parking restrictions. Arrange any private access details directly with Adam rather than including codes in public messages.

Keep pets in a secure area away from the work and remove pet waste from the lawn beforehand. Let household members know about the visit so everyone understands which outdoor areas will be in use.

Leave room for changes

Weather and property conditions can affect an outdoor visit. If the agreed plan needs to change, we will communicate with you. If you need to change your booking, email adam@tamway.au as soon as you can so we can discuss the next step.

After the visit, tell us if you would like to discuss repeat care. We can talk through the work you need and available timing without assuming a recurring booking from a one-off request.
